Boclair Care Home is delighted with its most recent addition – its own branded vehicle for taking resident out and about in the local community.
After a successful couple of months of welcoming the first of its residents, Boclair Care Home is delighted to now have its very own branded vehicle, complete with access for one wheelchair.
The intended use of the vehicle is to support residents in venturing out of the home, whether that be for personal errands, visiting loved ones, or trips into Bearsden and surrounding areas.
Access to the vehicle is included as part of our all-inclusive service, and having this mode of transport allows our residents to keep their sense of freedom and independence, and we encourage them to make full use of this amenity.
It also gives our staff the opportunity to ensure residents become active members of our local community, as they will be able to attend events, visit cafés and garden centres, and even explore everything that the nearby city of Glasgow has to offer.
It is vital to us that we build relationships with those in our local area and having this vehicle will play a big part in that, as we are able to help our residents get out and meet new people, explore different places and enjoy an array of experiences.
We very much look forward to welcoming new residents, taking them out to explore the local area, and making memories with them.
