Boclair Care Home provides Dementia Care in Glasgow alongside a range of other care services for older people including Residential Care, Nursing Care, and Respite Care.

We are proud to deliver Dementia Care to people living with the condition, as well as be a constant source of support to families and loved ones. Boclair is a purpose built care home, designed with our residents in mind. For individuals with dementia, our home provides a safe, caring, and welcoming environment, and presents itself as a true home away from home.

In addition to our around-the-clock care, we have a wide range of in-house facilities including a Sensory Room which has been specially designed to provide older people living with all kinds of conditions and impairments a calming space where communication skills can be developed and focus improved. Our home has been built with thoughtfully designed areas and an understanding of the need for comfort and familiarity, as well as practical features like en-suite wet rooms, clear signage, and contrasting colours.

Before residents move into Boclair Care Home, we arrange a consultation with our Home Manager, the prospective residents, and their loved ones to ensure we can address their individual needs. We work closely with them to comprehend their routines, interests, and preferences, which we then incorporate into their personalised care plans. Our approach to care is centered around the individual, and our objective is to assist residents in preserving their independence and dignity while reassuring them that we are always here to provide support whenever they need it.

We are committed to investing in the training and development of our staff, especially our dementia care team, who receive training as required to ensure they stay updated with the latest advancements in dementia care and support. Our teams possess the experience and expertise needed to provide effective care to our residents with dementia, which includes offering support with activities, therapies, communication, mobility, medication management, and personal care.

At Boclair Care Home, we offer a diverse activities programme for all residents, which includes both group and one-on-one activities and therapies.
