We provide palliative care at our care home in Glasgow which is a care service that is designed to meet the unique needs of each resident. Our aim is to create a comfortable and warm environment for those who are in the final days, weeks or months of their lives. This is a difficult and emotional time for both residents and their families. We provide support to help them through this uncertain time.

What is Palliative Care?

Palliative care, also referred to as end-of-life care, is a compassionate care service. Palliative care is specifically for those who are nearing the last days, weeks or months of their lives.

This care approach provides a high standard of comfort and support.

The goal of palliative care is to minimise a person’s pain and symptoms as much as possible while maintaining the dignity of an individual and fulfilling their wishes. Support is also provided to residents’ family members should they require it.
