We work hard as a team to make sure that our staff, service users and their relatives feel valued and fulfilled.
Maxine is our Home Manager, and she brings a wealth of experience to her role having started her career in the care sector as a Care Assistant before achieving her ambition to become a Nurse. Maxine worked in the NHS for 27 years on the surgical wards and Emergency Receiving and then became a Ward Manager. She then had an involvement in Practice Development which led to the role of Caring and Compassionate Practice Nurse and developing this philosophy across the service. Maxine then made the transition to be a Care Home Manager in 2013 and has not looked back since. Maxine is now ready for her next exciting role of commissioning our brand new luxury care home.
Laura is a well-experienced nurse, having worked in the role since 2008, and prior to that working in the care of the elderly. Laura excels in providing palliative care and completing anticipatory care planning and believes that working with the elderly is one of the most rewarding jobs there is. Laura has now been promoted to Deputy Manager.
Laura was even on ‘This Morning’ with Holly and Phil and went live to the nation during lockdown as the face of the new front line.
Irene brings a wealth of experience to her role having worked in care homes for 17 years in administration roles. Irene will often be your first point of contact and is excited to be part of the team welcoming residents and their families to Boclair.
Maureen has been a chef for over 20 years and loves her job as she strives to make everyone happy through food. Maureen thrives on seeing empty plates and high weights. Maureen says that It’s a pleasure to cater to the residents of Boclair and go the extra mile with full hospitality.
Scott is hardworking and trustworthy and always strives to be better. Scott is very willing to learn. Scott has worked in kitchens for the last 10 years. Scott enjoys catering to residents, and learning what the residents like and dislike as this makes the food feel more personal.
John is a Senior Carer at Boclair and is our Introduction Ambassador. He has a wealth of experience and is much much-loved team member. John is known for being hard-working and was awarded the ‘Trusted Award’ from ‘The Values of The Month’.
Anita has a background in Mental Health and we will really benefit from the skills she brings to the home as a Team Leader.
Scott used to be an Architect and on retiring decided to try something new. He has a wealth of experience in care homes and has started at Boclair with a flair and has good humour and great ideas.
Karen loves working as a Receptionist as she thoroughly enjoys meeting people. She has a vast experience in this role and will bring many skills with her. Karen is known to give 100% and goes above and beyond for anyone.
Anne is one of our Receptionists and loves meeting people and having a chat. Anne has many years of experience in customer services and is known for her organisational skills, so she will keep us all on the right track.
