This sparkling part of Scotland is steeped in history and there are opportunities to soak it all up at every turn. Voted one of the friendliest cities in the world, Scotland’s biggest city is a mix of arts, culture and Celtic charm. The centrepiece of the city centre square is a neo-classical building which is home to the Gallery of Modern Art.
