Boclair Care Home is a newly built, luxury care home situated on the outskirts of Glasgow, within the wonderful community of Bearsden. The home provides modern accommodation for up to 80 residents and the highest standards of residential care, nursing care, dementia care and respite care for older people.

Our residential care home located on the fringes of Glasgow within Bearsden, and is conveniently positioned to allow residents to travel to the bustling city of Glasgow or stay within the quiet suburbs of Bearsden. Each of our residents has the freedom to spend time with their loved ones and make the most of what Glasgow and the surrounding areas have to offer.

We have our very own activities team who creates a weekly activities programme that provides residents with stimulating activities and experiences as part of an all-inclusive package. Within our activities programme, we incorporate regular group outings into the local community and beyond. Our home also features many communal rooms, as well as a sensory room and beauty salon for residents to make use of all under one roof.

We offer nursing care here at Boclair, provided by our wonderful team of nurses. Residents who have high dependency needs, physical disabilities, long-term health conditions or those who require palliative care are cared for by a team of compassionate individuals. Within our nursing unit, each resident is allocated a nurse who gets to know them to the best of their ability in order to provide the highest standards of medical care and support.

Respite Care

For someone seeking short-term care, our respite care option provides high-quality care for those who have recently been discharged from the hospital or suffered from an illness. If a person is caring for a loved one, respite care provides someone with the opportunity to take a well-needed break until they feel ready. Respite care can also be used to trial a care home for a few weeks which gives someone the chance to see if it’s the right fit for them.
