Our teams at Boclair Care Home work tirelessly to provide residents with a plethora of activities to allow them to fill their days, however they choose. We believe that our residents should choose to partake in whatever makes them happy whether that be only doing in-home activities, or joining us on our outings and excursions too. Our complete activities programme works hand in hand with our individualised care plans and is tailored to those who live a quiet or more active lifestyle.

Our Activities Coordinator and their team come up with regular activities for residents to enjoy that are both full of fun and have positive benefits to their health and wellbeing which overall is always our top priority. Our complete activities programme can include anything from games afternoons, dance and singing classes, gardening, or enjoying the local community and all that it has to offer.

Encouraging Freedom & Choice

At Boclair, we promote giving residents the option of independence relating to their choice of daily activities. We believe that residents should have as much freedom as possible, whilst assuring them that our expert team is on hand to support them wherever it is needed. Our team takes pride in providing our residents with surroundings that make them to feel secure, comfortable, and positive. Our Activities Coordinator and team offer numerous activities that get rotated on a regular basis in order to keep each day engaging and residents motivated.

With a comprehensive activities and entertainment programme, each day can be a source of enjoyment for individuals with diverse interests. Our activities are organised daily, ensuring that our residents always have something to partake in.

We are thrilled to provide a wide array of activities and opportunities. These range from planned day trips that encompass shopping and leisure activities to in-home activities like pamper days and quizzes, which aims to suit a range of interests.

The events we regularly hold at Boclair include summer BBQs, Halloween parties, charity events and plenty of Christmas events all of which family members can attend.
